Every now and then, a Superhero have to admit that he needs help against overwhelming odds and even though they have asked before, they are now asking with even more sincerity - because if they didn't, it might mean the end of the world!
My cape have become heavy with the stresses of the real world and it means I must hang it on the coathanger for a bit, which was difficult for me to admit. I thought that the time was in my hand, that Doctor Who had my side and provided me with endless amount of hours in a week and the motivation to just keep pushing.
My adventures in making a club for awesome superheroes, such as myself, is taking up all of my energy and so are the customers - so this amazing site, which was brewed in the fires of some volcano's loins, have been put on the backburner. It certainly did not deserve that and nor does it's fine clientel.

With the fanfest blaring up in Iceland, a lot of interesting details regarding just how EVE Online and Dust 514, their new FPS, will work together - including the chance to give orbital bombardment to help your troops advance, CCP have also released a cinematic trailer to explain the actual lore behind it. Being a EVE Online player, I have never really cared much of the story behind it, but understand that it has huge roots and is almost entirely player driven. This makes the thought of battling over planets inside systems even more interesting as it actually shapes the MMO world, unlike any other multiplayer game.
We're living in a dangerous age, where sequels to amazing game series completely misses the point. That is why it is rough to start considering a sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed role playing games, because you have a gut feeling that they will butcher the entire franscise and taint all your precious memories.
LUCKILY, this does not seem to be the case with Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, aimed at a summer release. The plan is to remake (read: modernize) the entire series and they could not have chosen a better studio to do it. Beamdog, consisting of several ex-Bioware employees - including Trent Oster, one of the reasons Neverwinter Nights turned out as it did - have taken it upon themselves to not reinvent or reimagine the game, but rather just remake it, including a hefty update to the still amazing Infinity Engine. Trent Oster also reveals that Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is a stepping stone to a sequel to Baldur's Gate 2. If this is made in Infinity Engine, I am all for it.
I can't seem to figure out what exactly CryEngine 3 is. According to sources, it's the optimized console version of CryEngine 2 - so this must be a further expansion on this, i.e. one that will still work on the limited hardware on the current generation of consoles? Anyway, hit the jump for pretty!
Straight out of GDC, DICE have announced that they're working on 3 expansions for Battlefield 3.
The first one "Close Quarters, will be released in June and will, as the name suggests, offer in-door fighting on a more vertical level. The second one will be focused more on tank battles while the third is a secret, for now.
No other information has been released as of now.

Since Remedy announced that their promising survival horror game Alan Wake was going to a Xbox 360 exclusive, the game suddenly disappeared from my radar, like so many games before it. It was a bit sad, since Remedy have created many of my favourites game to the PC.
